BREAKING: Michele Bachmann Just Launched Something Massive to Stop Obama Cold
Friday, November 21st, 2014
In case you felt — to paraphrase the inimitable Judge Judy — that President Obama was peeing on your leg and telling you it was raining Thursday night, Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., wants you to know that you’re not alone.
Rep. Bachmann made an important announcement on Sean Hannity’s Fox News show on Thursday, but not before she took several digs at the president’s credibility.
“When I was watching this speech tonight, Sean, I felt like I was watching Jonathan Gruber, to be honest with you,” Bachman said, “because all I heard was contempt for the American people as though he thought we were so stupid that somehow he could say that his illegal actions were legal and we would all turn over and roll over and believe it. It’s not true.”
“Congress has a responsibility to uphold the laws of the land, as well,” Bachmann said. “We can defund this president’s illegal amnesty. That’s what we must do.”
As for a plan of action, Bachmann said that the first step was to blitz Congress when they’re back in session, Dec. 1-11, to call for the defunding of Obama’s amnesty plan.
“We need to have your viewers melt the phone lines,” Bachmann implored.
Bachmann also announced another step to put pressure on Congress to defund the amnesty plan: a rally to be held Dec. 3 on the steps of the Capitol Building, “at high noon,” to keep the pressure on our elected representatives to use the power of the purse.
“We need to visit our senators, and visit our congressmen, because nothing frightens a congressman like the whites of his constituents’ eyes,” Bachmann said.
“We need to say, ‘You’re not going to do this to our Constitution.’”
